Creating Thematic Himachal Pradesh Holiday Packages


Himachal Pradesh has many top tourist destinations which can be clubbed into different themes for designing the Himachal Pradesh Holiday packages for the tourists who are inclined to go on vacations for some specific purpose. Some of the main themes around which these packages could be built are:
  1. City-based: For the people who want to see some particular cities during their vacations, there packages need to include all the major sightseeing, recreational and activity oriented destinations. So, the Shimla holiday packages, if designed on the basis of city, shall include the sightseeing of the historic buildings as well as providing time for recreational activities. All in all, everything that city is famous for is included in the package.

  2. Adventure-based: Adventure activities which the State is famous for are trekking, rafting, paragliding, horse-riding and rock climbing. Even simple walks through the dense and tall trees could be adventurous. If the package is being designed for the activity-oriented holidays, then it could mean going to Chail for rafting, Bir Valley for paragliding and likewise. The Manali holiday packages are generally developed on the themes of adventure and nature offering the tourist a view of the breathtaking scenes and recreational activities.

  3. Nature-based: Himachal is full of gifts of nature. The varied geographical landforms such as the dense forests, canopies of tall trees, mountains and valleys, lakes and rivers and the many species of birds and animals make it an ideal destination for nature and wild-life enthusiast. The many wildlife reserves and sanctuaries for part of these packages.

  4. Historical: Most of the hill stations of Himachal Pradesh were developed during the rule of British and these still have many historical legacies. The Shimla and Dalhousie holiday packages are usually created on this theme offering tourist sightseeing of many architectures of that period. Government offices, churches, educational institutes, forts and palaces are some of these attractions for the tourists.
